    I am in eighth grade going to high school and i got to say that i hope it goes well. Time in eighth grade have been a delight ( sarcasm ). Oh yeah and my grades have been absolutlely great ( a D and lotta C's ) But i am wondering if high school will be as great as eighth grade. My brothers went to the high school i am going to and they say the experience was marginal, but i like to stay optimistic.      

    They say that each time you watch tv for six hours you lose some of your brain cells. And i can guess that it is worser for you when you play video games. Todays people are more inept in their computers, televison and video games. I think that one day humanity will be a brain dead monkey society. Electronics are making our people lazy, fat, stupid, and lathargic ( meaning cumbersome and not easy to move). Although technology is great, it may be slowly killing our society, like global warming or Michael Jackson. We should divert away from technology for awhile. The Omish make it look easy = )    

    I seems that hilary clinton will not be the presidentail person for the democrats. Barack  Obama has been completely ignoring her, so as John McCain. As much as i want her to win, it seems so unlikley. I do not belive that that Obama will beat John McCain either. I think that Hilaryt will beat John McCain. There are even statistics showing that, but she only beats him by 2%. I sure do not want a little bush in the white house, if you know what i mean. John McCain support most of what Bush does. I guess we should all prepare for the apacolypse = ) 

    I have heard on the news that experts say that talking on a cell phone for extended periods of time can give you caner. They say it is even worse than smoking! (makes me glad i do not have a cell phone) That is somewhat believable to me because the radio waves emitted by a cell phone and radio waves taken in by other cell phones may cause cancer, and some scientists speculate that this is causing all of our cancers and autism in our population. That is also believable in my opinion. I think that maybe one day that with all these radio waves floating around us that we will damage the human race beyond repair.

    Are you a patriot? How many times do you say the pledge of allegiance? Today i will talk about patriotism. By my friends definition patriotism is love in ones country. I love my country and i say the pledge of allegiangence every day i school. But i bet you that most people do not say frequently, i'd say that most people take freedom for granted. Even my friend thesays he takes it for granted. I hate those people who think that they can say anything just because that an ammendement says there is freedom of speech. As my english teacher says, "yes there is freedom of speech, but there is no such thing as no consequences to what you say." Even sometimes i take freedom because i look at third world countries and see that they dont have a tv like me or an xbox 360 like me. So you may say that i do take freedom for granted. One of the nicknames i have for my dog is Amberliscious because she is so vicious. Another name for pet is amburito because one day i saw her laying on the carpet just like a burito (he coat color matches that of a tortila's color.) Those are pretty much the only two nicknames i have for my dog amber. 

    You smell that air, you feel the heat, summer is just around the corner. After a long grueling year of work I may finally retreat into peace. What will you be doing this summer vacation, or if u dont have one (im sorry that you dont) do u think you should get one? I got to school, do u think i should review my school work over summer or rest and relax? Boy i cant wait til summer time. Please comment on this post.     

How are you spending this Memorial Day? How will it differ from Memorial Days past?

     I spent my memorial day with my family and had some barbeque ribs. I also refected back on all the people fighting in Iraq and Afganistan. While i dont think the war is just, i due respect the troops. Then me and my family took time to remeber my deceased grand father. He was in the navy in WWII. It change from last year, although i see nothing wrong on how me and my family celebrate Memorial Day

    On the news i heard that hybrids emit a deadly amount of electro magnetic waves which can be hazardous to your health. They say its because of the many electrical devices used to run the car. I dont have a link this time to the news report, but you'll have to take my word for it. A guy took a device to measure the electro magnetic waves, but scientists have yet to report if they are hazardous. I think thats a load of bologna. I think thats just a bunch of propaganda. 

     Do you believe that if you set your mind to it you can do anything? Personally i want to be a NASA aerospace engineer, but requires a lot at least a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering and an advanced knowledge of astrophysics and mathematics. I personally think that is beyond me but, if i have a passion i should follow it right? My brother on the other hand says that if u do not have the potential then you should not even give it a try. His example is that he is a teacher with a special needs kid who wants to become a doctor. He (the teacher) we say to that kid  , "i'm sorry but you aint gonna become a doctor." Do you think if you have a passion you should follow it, please comment.
